Our terms and conditions apply to all online conditions of sale from our web site. The terms are set out below. Read them before ordering. You may wish to print a copy for future reference. Vale Blinds Direct Limited reserve the right to refuse access to the web site, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you.

3. Access to the Vale Blinds Direct web site
We will make all reasonable endeavours to ensure that availability of the web site will be uninterrupted and that transmissions will be error-free. However, due to the nature of the Internet and the World Wide Web, this cannot be guaranteed. Also, your access to the web site may also be occasionally suspended or restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance, or the introduction of new facilities or services. We will attempt to limit the frequency and duration of any such suspension or restriction.

4. Licence for web site access
Vale Blinds Direct Limited grant you a limited licence to access and make personal use of this web site, but not to download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with the express written consent of Vale Blinds Direct Limited. This licence does not include any resale or commercial use of this web site or its contents; any collection and use of any product listings, descriptions, or prices; any derivative use of this web site or its contents; any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another merchant; or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
This web site or any portion of this Web site may not be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, resold, visited, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without our express written consent.

5. Our contract
When you place an order to purchase a product from Vale Blinds Direct Limited, we will send you an E-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we send E-mail confirmation to you that we've dispatched that product to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time we send the confirmation of shipment to you. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed as being shipped do not form part of that contract. Payment can be made by VISA, Mastercard, JCB, Maestro, Solo or VISA Electron. Payments made by Debit or Credit card are processed at point of order at which point your card will be debited the for the full amount of the order.

6. Pricing
All prices quoted include VAT at the current rate, where applicable.

7. Stock
If for any reason, we are unable to deliver your order within 10 days, we will contact you immediately.

8. Electronic communications
When you visit the Vale Blinds Direct Limited website or send E-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. We often communicate with you by E-mail or by posting notices on the web site. For contractual purposes, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

9. Alteration of Service or Amendments to the Conditions
We reserve the right to make changes to our web site, policies, and these conditions of use at any time. You will be subject to the policies and conditions of use in force at the time that you use the web site or that you order goods from us, unless any change to those policies or these conditions is required to be made by law or government authority (in which case it will apply to orders previously placed by you). If any of these conditions is deemed invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that condition will be deemed severable and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining condition.

10. Events beyond our reasonable control
We will not be held responsible for any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these conditions if the delay or failure arises from any cause which is beyond our reasonable control. If we are unable to fulfill your order within 30 days we will give you the choice to either cancel your order or wait for us to fulfill your order, All guarantees are exclusive and in lieu of all other obligations, liabilities or warranties. In no event shall Vale Blinds Direct be liable or responsible for incidental or consequential damages or for any other direct or indirect damage, loss, cost, expense or fee. This condition does not affect your statutory rights.

11. Waiver
If you breach these conditions and we take no action, we will still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these conditions.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, England and Wales. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Scottish courts.

14. Your Right To Cancel
In the event that you wish to cancel your order, you may do so by sending a letter to our postal address or by sending an e-mail to orders@valeblindsdirect.com stating your order number. Vale Blinds Direct Limited will process the request and confirm in writing or by e-mail that your order has been cancelled.
All of our made to measure blinds (all blinds with the exception of Velux and loft window blinds) are manufactured especially for you and therefore orders may only be changed or cancelled within 24 hours of the order being placed.
If you decide to cancel and we have already shipped your order but you have not received it, please refuse to accept the delivery when it is attempted.
If upon receipt of your order you wish to cancel or make a return, we can arrange for your order to be collected at a cost of £7.50 or you may arrange for the order to be shipped back to us by your own means.
Orders may only be returned once confirmed to you by Vale Blinds Direct in writing or by e-mail and will only be accepted if the products are in the original packaging and have not been fitted or attempted to be fitted.
If an order is returned or cancelled due to faulty workmanship or quality we will be unable to make any refund until the blind has been returned and inspected by our quality control team.
If Vale Blinds Direct have made an error with your order, Vale Blinds Direct will bear all costs for collecting and supplying you with the correct products.
15. Return of Goods
We feel you will be happy with the products you have ordered, however, in the event of you feeling that it is necessary to return the good please see below
GAZEBOS & GAZEBO ACESSORIES:
You can return your goods in their original condition to Vale Blinds Direct Ltd, 53 Station Road, Bottesford, Nottinghamshire, NG13 0EN within 14 days of receipt of goods. It is your responsibility for the goods until they reach us, so it is our recommendation that you use a secure delivery method which requires a signature on delivery. Please Note that if you fail to take reasonable care of the goods VBDL reserves the right to refuse return.
Our 14 day returns policy means that if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original condition within 14 days of the date you received the item, unopened (with any seals and shrink-wrap intact) and we will issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item only, within 30 days of the goods arriving with us. Please note: we can only accept the return of opened items if they are faulty. You will be responsible for the original delivery to you and the return postage.
If you return goods to us which are faulty or you have received by mistake or any other reason which is deemed to be our fault, within 14 days, we will refund all payments made to us. In this instance please contact us by telephone and we will advise you how you should send the goods to us.
Damaged Items: if you take delivery of a VBDL package and the contents have been damaged in transit, you can return the item(s) to us within 14 days of receipt for exchange.
Defective Items: you have the right to return a faulty item within a reasonable period of time. Please keep all the warranty information that accompanies your item as this will be needed should there be a fault. In the unlikely event that you have a faulty item, you may find it quicker and easier to contact the manufacturer directly so that they can rectify the problem for you.
Note: in the event of VBDL sending you a replacement for a damaged or defective item, you must return the original item to VBDL within 14 days. VBDL reserves the right to charge the price of the replacement to the payment card used for the original order if the item is not returned within 14 days of the date on which VBDL confirms we will issue a replacement.
In the event of a manufacturing fault claim you may be required to email us digital images to Info@valeblindsdirect.co.uk
If they have already been processed, cancelled orders will be subject to a 2% Transaction Fee plus a £10 administration fee.
16. BEAT-A-PRICE
BEAT-A-PRICE is for NEW orders only. EXCEPTIONS are:
- Existing Orders
- Competitors offering 1 off Promotional price
- Companies based outside of UK mainland
- Deliveries outside of UK mainland
- Loss Leaders
- Once price agreed and placed this is binding and cannot be cancelled or part refunded
- BEAT-A-Price will only be available once on any single order
- Only One Voucher can be redeemed per order.
- A voucher can not be used with any other offer.
- A voucher can not be used with any other Velux Product!
- For Velux products the total spend value of Velux products needs to be over £50.00.
